Senior Security Engineer

Our platform involves ingesting and modeling hundreds of thousands of high-resolution smart meter time series and surfacing analyses and insights to our users at utilities and energy suppliers. We're looking for experienced Senior Security Engineer, with a focus on DevSecOps, located in US time zones to help us support and maintain our platform.
What will you be doing?
- Together with our DevOps/SRE team members help us to maintain our infrastructure
- Use your experience to improve the overall infrastructure quality, tools and processes
- Heavy emphasis on security required to help us maintain our security posture and SOC II compliance
- Participate in alternating shift on-call rotation
What skills & experience do you need?
- Google Cloud, Terraform, Docker is a must
- Expert level Kubernetes skills
- Expert level Linux/networking skills
- Good scripting (bash) and programming (Python) skills is a plus
- Knowledge in Github Actions, Packer is a plus
- Knowledge in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Alert Manager is a plus
- Knowledge in workflow engines like Argo Workflows is a plus
- Knowledge in database systems like MySQL, ClickHouse is a plus
- Knowledge in back-end systems and frameworks like Flask, FastAPI is a plus
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience working with remote engineering teams
