The Sustainable Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of various programs and policies related to implementing the City’s Sustainable Transportation Plan and other forms of sustainable transportation. The Sustainable Transportation Coordinator is expected to understand the relationship between the STP and the City’s Climate Action Plan and will seek to implement programs or projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance environmental sustainability. A key measurement will be the reduction of vehicle miles travelled by fossil fuel powered vehicles and promotion of alternative and active modes of transportation.
