About Solar Analytics
Solar Analytics is a successful green-tech start-up that provides solar home energy management for rooftop solar photovoltaic systems. We build software to deliver homeowners energy freedom - the joy of a tiny electricity bill each month powered by their own rooftop solar. Founded in 2013 by a team of passionate, world leading solar experts, we have developed a cloud-based data and analytics platform for solar electricity production and consumption.
 
Our mission to power the world with rooftop solar and our core values drive everything we do; we put people first, we do meaningful work, we collaborate, we have fun, we are dependable and we explore. We all love coming to work and enjoy each other's company. Our office is in a central location opposite Redfern Park, although we work from home much of the time.

Now that we have completed a little intro about ourselves, let's outline this role and what we are looking for:
 
We are looking for an energetic and creative Social Media, Content and Marketing dynamo to join us and:
- manage our direct to consumer online activity across our digital channels to generate awareness and engagement
- drive community engagement & education through a variety of channels
- develop reporting to track performance of key marketing activities
- support the team to deliver targeted campaigns and increase web sign-ups
- collaborate with product, sales and support team to relay customer feedback from web channels

About You 
- About to finish, or have finished a University degree that is focused on one of the following: PR, Communications, Marketing, Commerce or Business 
- Love and understand what works on social media, on-line and in media 
- Experience with simple video editing and optimising for reach and conversion 
- Skilled at managing email marketing, campaigns and communications
- Understanding of social media management platforms (e.g. Buffer)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager or Google Ads is a plus
- Interested in sustainability and making a positive impact to people and the planet

We're not after a highly experienced candidate! We need the right aptitude and attitude, plus a desire to learn and rapidly grow our direct to consumer channel.
