Senior Manager of Marketing

Geli provides software and business solutions to design, automate, and manage energy storage systems.
The Senior Manager of Marketing will be responsible for leading all content creation efforts for the Qcells North America Corporate Marketing team with an emphasis on supporting the Residential Sales division. The primary objective for the role is to develop content that helps narrate the Qcells brand story in the US market while also generating brand equity and demand for the Residential team’s expanding suite of solar, battery and value-added solutions. The ideal person for this position is a marketer who has 5 - 7 years of B2B marketing campaign experience in the solar/renewable energy sector or in an adjacent industry. This position reports to the Marketing Director. The role will be located at the Irvine, California headquarters, or can be a remote or hybrid position, and may require occasional domestic travel.


  • Design, implement and track progress of marketing campaigns/projects with fluid execution and detail orientation
  • Develop concepts and originate written content for a wide range of marketing needs including flyers, slide decks, briefing materials, conference/exhibition collateral and webinar content
  • Collaborate with the Director of Design to help ensure brand compliance across a variety of corporate channels and materials
  • Supervise two Marketing Associates who oversee our website/social media channels and marketing materials (e.g., swag, apparel) respectively, providing them guidance and support in their respective roles; this includes reviewing and providing input on weekly social posts to ensure alignment with brand messaging and corporate goals and helping to analyze social media KPIs
  • Support Residential Sales Leaders and Managers on customer presentations, marketing collateral and other content to support the sales process as needed
  • Coordinate with the Residential Energy Storage & Service team, module and residential systems engineering team members and other internal stakeholders on the development of competitive positioning/messaging of new Residential products and value-added services that collectively encompass Qcells’ complete energy solutions approach; partner with these teams on the launch and commercialization of these solutions
  • Provide input on ad copy as well as other campaign collateral for co-marketing efforts with key partners and affiliate companies
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing, marketing research or related field
  • Candidates that have direct experience working for a solar manufacturer or other energy technology company (e.g., EVs, energy storage, etc.) or other similar related experiences in selling integrated solutions are preferred
  • Advanced ability to drive creativity and innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong, self-motivated individual who is efficient and has a good attitude
  • Ability to project manage multiple efforts simultaneously
