Summary of Role
In this Director HR, People Effectiveness & Optimization role, you’ll play a critical role on our People & Culture (HR) team by leading and managing multiple HR-related projects to successful completion. Working closely with the entire P&C team as well as other business units within Palmetto, you will identify project objectives, develop project plans, and manage timelines and budgets where appropriate.

Strategic & Tactical

In this Director HR, People Effectiveness & Optimization, you will:

  • Develop, lead, and implement critical company projects including building out the strategy, managing the timelines and deliverables, and milestones.
  • Manage the stakeholders across all levels of the Palmetto business
  • Enhance and deliver the data analytics, weekly reports & communication of the project progress
  • Coordinate and manage project teams and resources to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Key thought partnership with the head of HR & P&C organization
  • Evaluate the employee experience and identify interdependencies of HR projects and programs to ensure stakeholder alignment and frictionless employee experiences.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalate to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings and communications between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project processes and methodologies
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends in HR

Qualifications:
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, experience in multi-tasking and consistently delivering results. Working on multiple searches and projects should be the norm.
- Ability to be successfully self-organized and self-directed. We work in a remote environment with a growing company. This means we’re often shifting priorities and initiatives move quickly!
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on HR projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Hyper detail oriented and organized
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with HR systems and processes
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus
- Proficiency or the ability to adapt quickly to a variety of software applications and tools, such as Google Suite, Zoom, LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS systems, Trello, Calendly, etc.
- HR Business Acumen - Knowledge of HR Practices, processes & standard metrics preferred
