Customer Excellence Operations Project Manager

Geli provides software and business solutions to design, automate, and manage energy storage systems.
The Customer Excellence Operations Project Manager will report to the Head of Operations and Strategy and will help to organize and drive various projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, collaborative, and have a customer-focused and strategic mindset. The manager will be responsible for overseeing, prioritizing, and leading a range of business initiatives, including data analysis, operations strategy, and multiple voice of customer programs. This role will require collaboration with several cross-functional departments to ensure successful project deployment.


  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure development and execution of operations and strategy projects
  • Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, customer feedback, competitor dynamics, and current events to provide relevant business insights
  • Lead team members in tracking, investigating, and escalating customer complaints and feedback as needed
  • Create and improve upon processes and procedures to streamline the team’s work and maintain high productivity
  • Lead and manage all new initiatives that focus on operational record-keeping and documentation
  • Drive projects to ensure they are delivered on time along with a desired result
  • Support and lead projects as needed to build and cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization and with our partners
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize, and execute tasks to balance business needs and technical constraints while ensuring quality
  • Handle vendor proposals and agreements, negotiate with external partners, and collaborate with internal tech development teams to ensure that projects meet business requirements
  • Oversee ad hoc short-term projects that are often data-intensive and require tight deadlines
  • Maintain operational record-keeping and weekly meeting deliverables
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to team members and all project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Prior work experience within a project management role
  • Project Management Certification
  • At least 1+ years of experience leading a team in Operations, Admin, Customer Experience, or similar department.
  • Prior experience in leading FinTech Operations projects
  • Demonstrate proficiency usingMicrosoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Demonstrate priority-driven thinking through excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skilled in managing team members, collaborating with multiple departments, analytical problem-solving, and executing and driving deliverable timelines
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a high growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • Prior experience in solar or renewable energy industry
  • Project Management Certification
