As the Senior Account Executive focusing on national EPC’s (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), you will cultivate and oversee key strategic relationships to ensure customer needs are met for LGIA (utility) scale opportunities. This role is tasked with understanding and creating new business with EPC providers across North America focused in the LGIA segment.
In this role you will be customer-oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be identifying profitable opportunities and maintain a great customer experience. You will suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand to EPC’s and strategic companies related to the LGIA offering. The Senior Account Executive will bring their years of experience in the renewable energy industry to provide a reliable professional resource to the Americas Sales Department.
The goal is to find opportunities and turn them in long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Set EPC sales targets and specific performance metrics, aligned with business strategies.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Manage the entire sales cycles from finding a client to securing a deal.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a communications plan designed to expand brand awareness of offerings related to accommodate the special arrangements that EPC companies require.
- Grow an understanding of cross-regional customer needs and develop a plan for project delivery.
- Develop and sustain current/relevant sales tools to assist in their efforts to market Power Plant Control, SCADA, Meteorological Station, networking hardware, and professional services to EPC providers. This includes, but is not limited to, competition assessments and updates, proposal reviews, proposal follow-ups and proposal feedback to Senior Management. Develop customer tracking tools designed to identify potential customers, assess the viability of each potential customer, and establish a spirit of problem solving with viable customers.
- Optimizing LGIA project value within the expectations and limitations of potential long-term owners
- Identification, quantification, and management of risks of these sectors within the expectations of Sr. Leadership.
- Manage pipeline to track project level progress, risks, opportunities, and economics. Provide insightful analysis and reporting to management.
- Oversee and support Account Managers and Sales Associates to ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate with clients at a senior level to resolve issues and inquiries.
- Identify and approach potential EPC clients.
- Stay up to date with product launches and provide support to clients and the sales team.
- Organize meetings with the sales team to ensure all members are on board and deliver within deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 3+ year experience in an EPC focused sales role in the renewable energy space.
- Proven work experience as an Outside Sales Representative.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- High level understanding of the Renewable Energy Industry.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. SalesForce) is a plus.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships with a customer service attitude.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- A business acumen.
- Enthusiastic and passionate.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics.
- Team management skills.
- Strong analytical and organization skills.

Work Environment:
- Office Setting, primarily in cubicles
- Travel by car, air, train regularly
- Moderate to high noise levels (i.e., business office with computers, phone, printers, moderate traffic)
- Ability to sit or stand (standing desk provide upon request) at a computer/workstation terminal for an extended period.

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (talk/sign/type/write) and operate a computer, telephone (or alternative), keyboard (or typing device), etc.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Ability to uphold the stress of traveling.

Travel: 95%
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000 Base
