The People and Culture HR function is at an inflection point and we’re building out a world-class HR team for Palmetto. A critical part of this buildout is our VP, Talent Management role, a key piece of being our best for our employees by creating an incredible work environment and for our customers. Palmetto is seeking an exceptional HR leader to help design and build a people-centric Talent Experience function for our rapidly growing company. We value customer mindset, inclusion & diversity, rituals, longevity, happiness, and openness, and would like to see this function align and scale with these values first. With a focus on process improvement, you will champion our culture and drive talent strategies around onboarding, DEI, talent data & analysis, compliance, recognition & rewards, and employee engagement. This VP, Talent Management will report directly to our EVP, People & Culture.

Strategic & Tactical
- Build & drive the Talent Development strategy. Identify and develop a learning philosophy and culture for the organization. Partner with team members in the execution of the tactical components of talent development.
- Design an effective implementation strategy from talent review and succession planning to full employee lifecycle attraction, retention, and development.
- Define consistent and relevant talent management, organization development, learning success criteria, and performance metrics to ensure program efficiency, effectiveness, and return-on-investment value and identify enterprise gaps.
- Influence and present data-driven effectiveness to senior leadership regarding the adoption and performance of talent management, organization capability, and learning programs to promote the achievement of business strategy and accelerate change.
- Collaborate closely with internal partners and stakeholders to align the talent and learning function to ensure a seamless, effective service experience for employees and managers.
- Manage the performance of the talent management team to ensure they’re delivering consistent services that align with business strategy, using our technology and focusing on process optimization.
- Partner on all areas of Inclusion & Diversity for Palmetto, including working closely with Talent Acquisition, the broader HR team, and key stakeholders throughout the company.

Qualifications
- Highly flexible, agile, collaborative, and effective at leading and delivering on business imperatives in a high-change, high-growth environment
- Operational and strategic thinker with excellent knowledge in change management, organizational design, and talent performance management to bring innovation to the organization
- Business acumen paired with a hands-on mentality and the ability to match business needs with HR deliverables
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to integrate complex data into insights to create future-focused, high-impact people business strategies
- Excellent communicator, with experience in coaching, engaging and influencing senior business leaders
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in progressive talent management.
- A minimum of 15+ years of senior-level business leadership experience, including team development and management in a large and complex organization, is required.
- Previous industrial psychology or organizational development focus, a plus.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting organization-wide talent management, performance management, and training & development.
- Demonstrated success operating in a consultative role at the executive level and building relationships within all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.
- Proven consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
