Imagine in many years from now, you are speaking to a bunch of children (perhaps your grandchildren?) about the climate crisis. They specifically ask about the uncontrolled wildfires that threatened people’s lives and homes. “How did we solve that?” they are asking. This is what you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with the product team to sketch and conceptualize new customer-facing products or internal tools
- Create storyboards, wireframes, and user flows to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Ability to help other departments with design need such as marketing and sales.
To move forward in the application process you should have at least all of these:
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Experience with design software such as Figma
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
