What we are looking for:

Stem’s Total Rewards Manager will have an opportunity to develop a compensation and benefits strategy for Stem, globally. Partnering with our VP, Human Resources, and managing a team of 2 you will set the groundwork for benefits plans, compensation guidelines, governance, and a supporting infrastructure.

This is an exciting time at Stem with the successful IPO in 2021 and the expansion and company growth. Upside potential for you to put your stamp on this newly created role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a compensation and benefits strategy
- Communicate the total rewards programs to Stem employees, Executive Staff and Board of Directors
- Lead and coordinate all activities in the area of total rewards, creating a framework that will ensure Stem meets its goals of attracting, developing and retaining top talent
- Develop compensation proposals for the leadership teams
- Ensure our programs are market-competitive, aligned with our business strategy and in compliance
- Conduct analysis to support development of cost-effective compensation and benefits programs
- Develop programs for short-term incentives, recognition and health & wellbeing
- Manage the compensation and benefits administration process, semi-annual compensation and promotion cycles and benefit strategies.
- Work with the VP, Human Resources and IT to identify and select business systems to support the Total Rewards programs
- Work with external and internal Auditors during quarterly and annual audit reviews

Requirements:
- BS in Human Resources, Finance, Business or related field
- 7+ years of compensation and benefits experience including an emphasis on global compensation administration across fixed and variable cash and equity compensation.
- Experience in a public, hi-tech, fast paced global companies, pre-IPO equity and M&A activities
- Experience with stock options, RSU’s, and other equity offerings,
- Experience in compensation analysis, trends, benefits best practices
- M&A experience
- CCP certification - plus
- Experience with various software tools; Workday, Saleforce.com, etc.
- Proficient in Excel and other data analytics tools; R or Python
- Public company experience in a hi-tech company – preferred.
