Develops and implements system validation test programs to ensure compliance with company’s quality processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes test plans and automated testing systems for each product to demonstrate it meets all significant product specifications/requirements.
- Develops and documents test protocols in support of the test plan.
- Identifies, recommends, and manages outside test resources in support of validation and compliance testing.
- Plans for internal resource requirements in support of validation and compliance testing.
- Documents progress throughout process as well as final test results.
- Coordinates with development team during technical design to maximize automated test support.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
- Investigates and thoroughly understands developments in testing codes and standards.
- Supports UL and related product certifications.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- B.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field.
- 2+ years related experience or equivalent with software test creation and execution.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
- Proficient in C/C++, IEC 61131-3 PLC languages, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Working knowledge of the basic principles and concepts of power generation a plus.

Work Environment:
- Office Setting, primarily in cubicles
- Moderate to high noise levels (i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, moderate traffic
- Ability to sit or stand (standing desk provide upon request) at a computer terminal for an extended period

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (talk/sign/type/write) and operate a computer, telephone (or alternative), keyboard (or typing device), etc.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
