What we are looking for:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be critical to Stem’s continued success as we scale for growth. You will play a significant role in evolving what Recruiting means at Stem by crafting scalable mechanisms to help our hardworking team of Recruiters effectively support hyper-growth. This role requires a player/coach, so someone who gets up every day passionate about matching great talent with opportunities, but also has the desire to lead a small but impactful team and set the strategy to make us better. You’ll also cultivate an encouraging environment complete with continuous learning in a growth-minded manner.

The ideal candidate will be a builder, with strong Recruiting experience and a proven track record of delivering results. This position requires strong Recruiting and Executive Search skills and a self-starter, motivated to lead a small team. This is an exciting time at Stem with the successful IPO in 2021, acquisition of AlsoEnergy in 2022 and the ongoing company growth/expansion.

Responsibilities:
- Owns, develops and implements the Recruiting strategy for 2 Business Divisions within Stem.
- Manages the full cycle Talent Acquisition process ensuring an effortless and positive candidate experience.
- Creates and fosters strong relationships with colleagues and partners with hiring managers to identify requirements and business needs.
- Drives improvements to global recruitment tools, policies, and processes to ensure streamlined, effective, and high-quality services are delivered.
- Provides regular recruitment metrics and reports to leaders on team progress on actual to planned HC.
- Uses recruitment data and analytics to provide our business with real-time insights. Defines and creates strong reporting and dashboards, with an aim to provide visibility and transparency to our recruitment strategy.
- Ensure recruiters and hiring managers have a clear mutual understanding of staffing policies, practices, interview best practices and on-boarding processes.
- Partners with the HR team on a variety of operational and pivotal initiatives including; candidate interview process, new hire on-boarding, diversity planning, Compensation and Job design and others as needed.
- Helps build a welcoming employer brand, promoting our employer value proposition and growing brand awareness.
- Is an advocate of DEI and brings thoughtful strategies towards building an inclusive environment and while diversifying our candidate pool.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8-12 years Recruiting experience.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with recruiting in the energy or high-tech sector preferred.
- Previous ATS experience; experience with Linkedin and/or Workday ATS preferred.
- Experience directly leading a global recruitment team with a history of achieving results by encouraging the team and crafting high-levels of accountability.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to provide clarity on recruiting vision, strategy, and status to key partners including Leadership Team, and Hiring Managers.
- Data Driven; someone who persistently looks at data to uncover business insights and drive decision-making.
- A candidate-focused mentality and passion for crafting an astonishing candidate experience with the ability to balance the needs of the recruiting team with those of the business

Job Location:
San Francisco Bay Area, Boulder, Houston or Austin preferred.
This could be an office based or Hybrid (office/remote) role.
