As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. This role will be responsible for ensuring the correct parts are received and ship out accurately and in a timely fashion. The role will require someone who pays attention to detail and can be pulled in many directions without losing focus.

Responsibilities:
- Process orders in company ERP system for shipment according to department protocols.
- Process to ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL as noted on order.
- Assist in photographing, labeling, and packaging orders for shipment.
- Record data in support database per compliance requirements.
- Prepare pallets for shipping (strapping and wrapping).
- Keep manager informed of any issues or delays in the Production/Shipping process.
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
- Verify packages according to purchase order and invoice (quantity, quality, price, etc.).
- Receive shipment contents to the appropriate Purchase Order in our ERP system.
- Stock received inventory in the cage using in the correct tagged locations and employing FIFO method.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- Help maintain organization and labeling of inventory/cage shelves.
- Willingness to cross train in Production positions, as necessary.
- Willingness to learn shipping programs and documented processes.
- Comfortable using basic tools and testing equipment.
- Keep the warehouse and dock area clean. Maintain the area in an organized and safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Experience in a shipping and receiving environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data, creating documentation, and composing emails – Example: Outlook, Excel, Windows programs.
- Experience using an ERP system. NetSuite a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math and recording skills.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Flexible – able to multi-task and/or shift focus based on management defined priorities.

Work Environment:
- Warehouse Setting
- Moderate to high noise levels (i.e. warehouse with power tools, machinery, high traffic)
- Ability to sit or stand (standing desk provide upon request) at a workstation terminal for an extended period.

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (talk/sign/type/write) and operate a computer, telephone (or alternative), keyboard (or typing device), etc.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
- Regular, predictable attendance is required
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Frequently exposure to outside weather conditions

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00/hour. (over 40 hrs. per week 1.5 x hourly rate)
