What we're looking for

Your job is to help Mighty Buildings' product and R&D organizations use scrum to bring clarity and focus across a complex value chain. From materials science to 3D printing to construction automation to home design and software development, we engage with a wide range of technologies and products, each dependent on the other. We are looking for someone who has experience using agile and scrum to help teams hit outcomes. We’re working to make beautiful, carbon-neutral housing a reality for everyone. We need someone ready to rise to the challenge.

Responsibilities
- Actively coach key roles (C Suite, VPs, APOs, Scrum Masters, etc) and participate in leadership conversations to provide best practice knowledge;
- Improve team performance and facilitate work completion using Scrum and Agile practices and without using coercion, assigning, or dictating work - Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on solutionizing;
- Guide, coach and motivate multiple teams with the goal of increasing productivity
- Facilitate and support all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) and Company events (stratigic session, all-hands meeting, weekly exec meeting etc);
- Resolve team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization;
- Work with exec team and PMs, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams;
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master/Agile Coach
- Knowledge and experience with multiple agile frameworks & methods (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, XP, LeSS, Nexus)
- Proven record of successfully managing two to three Scrum teams at the same time, including geographically distributed/remote/international workers collaborating across multiple time zones
- Experience facilitating large Scrum events
- Strong situational awareness, decision making, and conflict resolution competencies
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to mentor by both example and through coaching
- Familiarity with software development life cycle models and traditional project management principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management

Nice to Haves
- Experience in construction or complex manufacturing
- Success implementing scaled scrum frameworks in non-software (or not exclusively software) companies
