Lime is a smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including Lime-E e-assist bicycles and Lime-S electric scooters. Lime aims to revolutionize mobility in cities and campuses by empowering residents with cleaner, more efficient, and affordable transportation options that improve urban sustainability.
What you’ll do:
- Manage revenue recognition and cash receipts for worldwide entities. Work closely with management, technical accounting team and external auditors to ensure the company is compliant with the latest revenue recognition rules and SOX.
- Responsible for the monthly revenue and cash receipts close, which includes journal entries posting, detailed analytics and review of transaction processing.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis.
- Miscellaneous Non-Trade AR invoice management.
- Enhance and drive process improvements to ensure proper accounting treatment, cross-functional alignment with company’s business strategy.
- Involved in designing of automation solutions to further streamline financial data for decision making and ad hoc projects.
About you:
- 5-7 years of relevant revenue / general accounting experience
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Good time management skills with the ability to remain organized under aggressive reporting timeline
- Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Ability to grasp accounting and finance concepts quickly
- Energetic team player with the ability to build good working relationships
- Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
