We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, hands-on Senior People and Culture Advisor to support our People & Culture (P&C) Lead for Europe and the UK management team. They will rely on you to provide timely, practical advice and full administration on all P&C-related matters for the UK.
With your valuable regional insights, we will build on our global P&C function success which delivers true impact, underpinned by Zoomo values. You can expect a fair degree of autonomy and visibility in this newly created position. We envisage this role being mostly stand-alone from a day-to-day perspective. You will be expected to deliver end-to-end on all aspects of HR from admin to project delivery and strategy input for your remit. In this role, you can expect to -

  • Support and execute the People and Culture strategy and business plan across the business in the UK
  • Deliver all key people activities including but not limited to:
    • performance management
    • reward and recognition
    • team engagement
    • onboarding and offboarding experience
    • learning and development
  • Full ownership of P&C Administration with some support from global P&C teams
  • Be a whizz with our HRIS (Sapling) and manage P&C administration and reporting as required, always looking for opportunities to automate and streamline standard processes
  • Support and coach managers with day-to-day performance management, career development and disciplinary actions.
  • Analyse people trends and metrics to recommend and implement quality, data-driven solutions, programs and policies.
  • Embrace stakeholder feedback to continually improve and actively develop your own capabilities and technical expertise.
  • Contribute to a team culture where all members are valued and recognised for their diverse skill sets.
  • Support the payroll function to provide accurate and on-time information for data processing.
  • Work with the Payroll team to ensure any changes are processed and joiner/leaver information is accurate
  • Strong Excel skills - including formulas, pivot tables etc.
  • Basic administrative support to EU markets as and when required

Requirements
- 4 years plus experience, ideally in a blended workforce of frontline (warehouse & store - consumer-facing) and office teams.
- Sound and working knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience in dealing with complex Employee Relations matters and grievances
- Confident with Handbook and Policy reviews
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher.
- Exceptional stakeholder management/business partnering skills with the ability to naturally build rapport with anyone
- Comfort in the ambiguity of a scale-up environment with a creative streak able to create something from nothing
- An iterative approach and a willingness to jump from partnering, to strategy, to process building to more. Strong business storytelling skills (verbal and written) with an ability to translate "HR speak" into a relatable, impactful and data-driven narrative.
- Positive, authentic, solution-oriented team player with an eye for efficiency
