Mission
To accelerate the transition to renewable energy by building digital infrastructure that enables new ways of managing energy consumption.
About us
Enode builds APIs that connect consumer products, such as electric vehicles, to apps and services. For example, we give developers the power to connect to and control your EV, thermostat, solar inverter, or home battery.
We work with some of the fastest-growing energy companies globally, making it easier for them to engage their customers with renewable energy products. As a result, our software is exposed to millions of consumers who have the chance to save money and use more renewable energy with our API.
We are backed by Y Combinator and other world-leading investors who believe in our team and the importance of solving climate change with technology. Now we need more great talent to join the adventure.

What we're looking for
We are looking for compassionate engineers excited by leading projects, setting technical direction, and mentoring those around them. In addition, we are looking for engineers motivated by creating impact for our customers, growing together as a team, shipping, and leaving things better than we found them.
Our frontend surfaces are primarily written in Typescript, using React (with Remix) and styled using vanilla-extract. Even though these are technologies we use everyday, there’s no requirement to have experience with all/any of these technologies. We are not looking for someone that adapts our way of working, but someone that will be a part of technical decisions on how we can improve our products.
As a member of the experience team, you are responsible for everything from our Link product to developer hub. Our Link product is how thousands of users interact with Enode and are critical part to onboarding people to a more innovative electric future. The Experience team is responsible for the entire stack that product engineer teams at Enode leverage to quickly and reliably launch new account-linking products.
You must be located between UTC+3 and UTC-2.
You have
- A passion for building products with high impact on the forefront of the green shift.
- The capabilities to work across the entire stack when needed and collaborate with Product & Design to set the long-term technical direction for new & existing products.
Nice to have
- Experience growing a new team or product, and are excited about helping make a great team environment.
Benefits
The main benefit is getting on board early in a VC-backed early-stage startup that is growing fast. In addition, we offer employees the following:
- Competitive salary and equity compensation
- Flexible working arrangement
- A challenging and rewarding working environment with talented people
- Regular company retreats and other perks
