Job Overview:

The Structured Finance Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models related to CCS projects, as well as financial models related to corporate capital raising activities and the financial position of the company. You will support project valuation, due diligence, and execution of debt and equity financings at the corporate and project level. This position would greatly benefit from experience in the renewable, oil and gas, or power industries.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Required
- 1-3 years of experience working as a Finance Analyst performing in depth analysis and financial modeling at the corporate or project level
- Strong knowledge of fundamental finance and economic principals, capital markets, and valuation
- Proficient in MS Excel, with a demonstrated ability to construct and efficiently utilize complex financial models
- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree related to finance, economics, or related field

Preferred
- Experience in renewables, oil and gas, or power industry
- Knowledge of Tax Equity and project finance
- Knowledge of VBA

Essential Responsibilities:
- Conducts asset valuation and defines financial situation by completing quantitative analyses, considering the company’s goals and financial position.
- Constructs and updates financial models, including pro forma project cash flows, debt modeling, and a detailed analysis of project returns.
- Evaluates potential outcomes and project returns across various scenarios and recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals.
- Provides creative alternatives and recommendations to improve financial performance through a deep understanding of value drivers and available project structures.
- Assists in project and corporate financing activities. Assists with deal structuring, diligence, and closing activities.
- Prepares detailed presentation materials and general informational packets for existing and potential investors.
- Maintains existing corporate and project financial models including updating departmental budgets, and changes in project cost and financing assumptions.
- Performs ad hoc tasks and assists other departments through the creation of budget templates and other finance related tools.
- Identifies trends, advises the company and recommends actions based on sound analysis.
- Gains and updates job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

General Requirements and Job Details:
- Must be able to work at a computer for at least eight hours per day
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States 
- This position is based out of our Lakewood, Colorado offices
- This is a Monday through Friday, Full-Time, Exempt position
- This is a salaried position so there may be times when a non-standard schedule is required
