- Recruit, onboard, and manage an DevOps team in our San Francisco, CA or Juno Beach, FL office
- Participate in architectural design work, including writing technical specs for infrastructure projects.
- Perform all duties of a direct supervisor for each team member, including resource planning, weekly one-on-ones, quarterly performance check ins, and annual reviews

Job Duties
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects across NextEra Energy.
- Effectively set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Lead scoping and sprint planning within your teams
- Lead, maintain, and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure and footprint, utilizing programming languages like Python, Container Orchestration services like Docker, Kubernetes, CM tools including Terraform, and a variety of other AWS tools and services
- Identify and scope infrastructure or tooling changes to impact efficiency and/or quality
- Directly impact our ability to grow quickly while improving operational efficiencies
- Partner with Architecture and IT Security to define standards and strategy.
- Mentor and coach, your employees in their career growth

Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 8+ years

Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated strong expertise in DevOps, AWS
- Experience with popular best-in-breed products in the DevOps space that support enterprise-grade SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Previous experience in the solar and/or renewable energy industry; previous experience with B2B software
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
