The Senior Business Development Analyst will work closely with the Business Development team to support the growth of Crusoe’s Digital Flare Mitigation & Renewables footprint both domestically and internationally. They will be responsible for complex financial modeling and economic evaluation, internal and external presentations supporting project development, project due diligence along with general internal support functions. This role will provide significant exposure to the senior management team with the potential for upward development and advancement to a more external facing commercial role. Relevant experience would entail prior investment banking, private equity, or financial analysis experience preferably with an oil and gas or energy focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed economic models specific to new Digital Flare Mitigation or Renewables opportunities.
• Create summary presentations and project approval materials to be presented to Crusoe senior management and drive investment decisions.
• Perform critical analysis which leverages Crusoe’s unique value proposition and identifies opportunities for specific commercial structures.
• Work closely with the Finance group incorporating new deal flow variables into company planning models.
• Develop internal general reports related to potential counterparty activities within targeted basins.
• Track competitor activities, including expansion projects and other commercial developments
• Support the Business Development team with any required Ad Hoc reporting.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience, energy experience is a plus
• Experience in private equity or investment banking highly desired
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to understand and craft narratives to support business decisions
• Self-motivator and able to consistently deliver results under strict time constraints
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Proactive and results-oriented; possesses a high level of integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills including communicating at various levels of organization, including to senior leadership
• Interest in personal growth
• Limited travel may be required

• Salary range is between $95K and $130K+. Stock options are included in all offers. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
