The Role:

The Sr. Brand Manager will develop and implement both long-term and short-term strategies and tactics as agreed with the brand principles and management. The Brand Manager will generate volume building programs for the U.S. market and deliver budgeted yearly sales and profit commitments. The Brand Manager will also perform research and analysis to guide future brand development and awareness and work on developing strategic brand positioning and communication.

Responsibilities:
- Quarterback and own the inaugural product line of Meati, ensuring excellence across Placement, Promotion, Pricing, and Performance by working with cross functional team (marketing, sales, research and development, operations, agencies, and finance) to support the development and execution of brand plan
- Analyze and interpret market trends, syndicated data, and consumer research to track brand performance and inform better sales and marketing team decisions
- Build brand loyalty, drive trial, and repeat purchase for new products, line extensions
- Develop strategies, project creative briefs, and manage agencies to ensure messaging and creative planning are consistent with brand strategy
- Leverage consumer and industry insights to develop more powerful consumer communications, brand programming, and new products
- Track and manage the marketing budget to ensure the company hits its annual business plan goals
- Interact with customers in order to influence their programming, planning, and merchandising during annual business planning process
- Develop new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements
- Focus on the critical few objectives that add the most value and consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations
- Work cross-functionally across all marketing and commercialization functions to design comprehensive Go to Market strategies that deliver both short and long-term profitable growth across all channels (Foodservice, Retail)
- Ability to co own P&L with finance, making decisions to
-  Lead analysis to track category and brand performance, utilizing various tools and resources including Trade Reporting, Nielsen, and Numerator, among other data sources.
- Identify meaningful and relevant programs that will have the most impact on specific target audiences

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of consumer marketing experience is required
- Minimum 5 years prior brand management or integrated experience in the food industry preferred
- MBA or Masters Degree Preferred
- A demonstrated track record in managing top and bottom line with excellent analytical reporting is necessary
- This role Requires an open communicator with excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both written and verbal
- You can spot patterns and trends in data and culture and distill them into actionable growth moments for the brand
- entrepreneurial spirit, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are excited at the potential to build a brand and brand department from the ground up.

Compensation:
$108,000 - $148,000 including a potential annual bonus and equity. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
