OVERVIEW

Terramera is seeking a creative, energetic, and agile Product Manager for its soil health technology business to complement a growing team of leaders. The Product Manager will provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams working to advance the mission of the Company.

This position requires exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to quickly understand benefits of new technologies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leads multi-faceted product development activities and overall planning from concept to stakeholder relations in parallel with requirements gathering and uncovering insights through post-launch
- Tracks and reports on the progress of initiatives and user stories within the context of the product roadmap to both internal and external stakeholders
- Translates strategy into detailed requirements for prototypes and new product features
- Creates product briefs that capture business case, technical requirements, and ROI
- Assumes ownership in building and maintaining the product backlog
- Develops multi-level system requirements and technical specifications in collaboration with the Company’s cross-functional teams of engineers, scientists, and other groups
- Envisions the product design and iterations that fosters a holistic user experience and bridge overlapping functionalities between features and related technologies & platforms
- Organizes user research alongside UX Engineers to understand user needs, identify and diagnose pain points, lead testing and validation, formulating modifications, and contribute to designing products that materialize the Company’s product vision and business goals
- Leadership activities: career pathways, planning, progression
- Builds and leads a team of product owners and designers
- Perform other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA would be an asset
- 5+ years of product management experience in a product-led organization
- Experience managing overseeing all elements of product lifecycles in a start up environment
- Understanding of both software (preferable SaaS) and hardware product development, with strong track record of delivering successful products in one of these
- Demonstrated ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to Management
