Procurement Intern

Job Overview:

The internship will be 10 weeks long during the summer of 2023 for May 30th – August 4th.

The potential project for the Procurement Intern may include analysis of spend by supplier and material/services followed by identifying areas from this analysis for improved efficiency. The project may also involve identification of top materials/services where Carbon America could save significant money by bringing inhouse (make or buy analysis) and/or the identification of preferred partners.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Required
- Rising Senior, Graduate or Post-Graduate
- Potential Fields of study:
1. Supply Chain
2. Business Analytics
- Classes in procurement/supply chain, accounting/business, business analytics, project management and/or analytics.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Specific responsibilities will be based on the intern and specific project, but generally speaking candidates should possess strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, and strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.

General Requirements and Job Details:
- Must be able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- This position is based out of our Arvada, Colorado offices.
- This is a Monday through Friday, non-exempt position.
