If you’re motivated by solving real problems for real people then, you’ve come to the right place! As performance marketing director you will own return on ad spend at one of the fastest growing direct to consumer companies in North America, part of Meta’s exclusive Disrupters program. You’ll be responsible for millions a month in ad spend deployment in peak season across all channels including; digital (Facebook, Google, Tiktok, Pinterest etc), television, out of home and more experimental channels. You’re data obsessed and incredibly creative, you have to be because often times there is no playbook. You live and breathe ROAS, CAC, and contribution margin.

What can you expect from this role?

Monitor, manage and report on the performance of ourmarketing agencies and partners.

Deploy our millions of dollars in paid advertising efficiently and effectively and at a maximum return on ad spend. You’re Plugged into Meta, Google and TikTok advertising - you know the pulse of these services, the trends, what gets high return, what doesn’t. You’re an experimenter, constantly tweaking and trying new things, making us better and better and introducing curve bending changes to our performance marketing strategy.. You are a pro at managing agencies and managing up - constantly setting and resetting expectations, you are humble and not defensive, and you are constantly working to hit your targets. Impossible motivates you, rather than discourages you. You understand that sometimes you need to try 1000 things that won’t work to get where you need to go.. - no matter how impossible they seem.

Responsibilities:
- Own performance marketing strategy; channel splits, creative, content, placement worldwide
- Own channel split forecasting for 8 figure omni-channel advertising budget across all brands, updated daily in peak season.
- Own daily and monthly ROAS and monitor in real-time across all brands.
- Manage the relationship with our performance marketing partners for each paid advertising channel, monitor their performance, keep them on target, project manage their requests, make sure they deliver on our requests.
- Work with our Commercial and Creative team to ensure that all content being produced for paid channels is optimized for channel and ROAS;
- Make on-site and campaign recommendations, and project manage their implementation to further the success of your omni-channel campaigns.
- Work with the commercial team and digital agency(s) to forecast monthly acquisition targets by marketing channel including cost per acquisitionFrequently present analytics insights and recommendations to the creative team and key stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in platform deploying ads for Facebook ads manager, Google ads manager, and other channels.
- Experience developing and implementing ad campaign concepts from idea through return on ad spend.
- Experience managing external ad agencies, in-agency experience also an asset
- Experience owning multi-million dollar omni channel marketing budgets
- Experience growing direct to consumer sales channels (ex: Shopify)
- Experience building reports and google slide decks to report on campaign performance.
