What we are looking for:

The e-Mobility Partnerships Manager will join the dynamic e-Mobility team and will be a founding contributor and member of this core new initiative at Stem, helping to shape and accelerate the team’s direction through strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities will include:
1 - Support the VP of e-Mobility in the development and maintenance of market maps of EV partners that Stem should be engaging with. This will include Charging network software (CMS) providers, EV OEMs (bus, truck, and passenger vehicle), charging equipment OEMs, payment SW platform providers, and other market participants as relevant in the EVSE and EV OEM space
- Work with Product, Product Marketing, Corporate Development, and other departments to create market maps of both potential competitors and potential partners
- Prioritize and develop partnerships in support of 6, 12, and 18-month roadmap for the E-Mobility initiative

2 - Support internal product and offering development activities that keep Stem at the forefront of this rapidly developing market segment
- Gather product feedback from CMS partners and other partner types and synthesize voice-of-market for Product team
- Gather competitive intel from these market interactions and report back / synthesize with Product Marketing
- Maintain a view of key policy initiatives in EV charging and factor into partner strategies and offerings
- Represent Stem with external partners and customers on both introductory and recurring partner meetings

3 - Manage the success of Stem’s announced CMS partnerships. Direct these partnerships in the origination of opportunities to successfully co-market joint offerings, and ultimately book projects
- Lead regular cadence calls with Stem’s CMS partnerships in the e-Mobility space
- Develop co-marketing strategies and manage their implementation
- Work directly with Stem AE’s on specific Opportunities once identified, to ensure a seamless process for the end customer
- Steward “linked proposals” by the CMS partner and Stem so that customer proposals are coherent and ready for execution by the partner
- Provide consistency of partnership support and promote the development of sales pipeline by multiple CMS partners
- Act as a liaison between the e-Mobility partners and Stem’s Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing teams
- Ensure partner opportunities are correctly tracked and reported
- Ensure correct and consistent use of the Opportunity Registry by the AE’s
- Track e-Mobility RFPs and manage potential multi-bid-team responses

Requirements:
- 5-10 years of work experience in EV charging, EV network software, or EV charger OEM
- Experience in energy storage, distributed energy resources, or corporate sustainability a plus
- Familiarity with electric utility tariffs and renewable energy project modeling
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Model work ethic and mission-driven / passionate about working in clean energy
- Demonstrated success in cross functional work and building consensus across teams
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- BA/BS required in Engineering, Finance or other technical field

Job Location
- Stem offers Fully in-person, Flex, and Fully-remote work opportunities
- Stem has Headquarters in San Francisco CA, with offices in Austin TX and Boulder CO
- Some travel is expected (less than 20%)
