THE PITCH

At Tomorrow Farms, we’re reinventing your childhood favorite foods by building irresistible food and beverage brands that are better for people, kinder to animals, and easier on the planet. We’re building the “front end for the future of food,” commercializing incredible technology in the food space and getting it into the hands of consumers around the world. Our first brand, Bored Cow, is the world’s first animal-free dairy milk. We partnered with our friends at Perfect Day, who figured out how to make real milk protein using microflora instead of cows. It’s a new method of making dairy that doesn’t require a single animal. That’s good news for cows, but it’s better news for us, and the planet. We’re a whimsical and purpose-driven brand that takes our mission, but not ourselves, seriously!

THE ROLE

We are looking for an organized, energetic and thoughtful Operations and Culture Associate to play a critical role in shaping and supporting our people and workplace experience. You will continuously innovate and respond to team feedback on how to build a company culture rooted in kindness, efficiency, and effectiveness. A community leader and relationship builder at heart, you are a prioritizer with high emotional intelligence. You will play an integral role in helping us build a unique hybrid-remote model that is optimized specifically for our people and organization.

As Operations and Culture Associate, you will be responsible for onboarding new hires, planning and executing team culture events, office administration and maintaining ownership of team systems and tools. You have a track record of success building systems and processes for collaboration, and are an organizer at heart with a high attention to detail and discretion, and are comfortable with managing multiple projects simultaneously.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the experience for critical moments along the employee lifecycle including: onboarding, offboarding, birthdays, anniversaries, and job changes.
- Be a leader of our internal culture, planning events such as team dinners, offsites, lunch and learns, and guest speakers.
- Manage the workplace experience in our NYC office, including administrative responsibilities and serving as liaison to landlord.
- Ensure our ATS & HR software is kept up to date with accurate data; develop reporting and run analysis on employee data; maintain internal directories, etc.
- Design compelling pre-onboarding and onboarding materials (outlining current benefits, welcome emails, etc.) for new employees.
- Be the owner of internal software systems that support the team such as Slack, Asana, and Google Workspace as well as internal systems such as conference room booking platforms and the PTO calendar; manage an internal operations budget to scale our systems and tools for more effective workflows and operations.
- Process invoices for freelancers and contractors; support coordination with our compensation and benefits platform.
- Please note: this role is expected to work from our NYC office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week

WHO YOU ARE
- 1-3 years in people operations, operations, or a similar field (internships OK).
- Clear growth mindset with strong collaboration and creative problem solving skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exceptional writer and communicator; able to clearly take notes in a fast-paced environment and act on instructions quickly.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills and are highly comfortable with managing multiple cross-functional initiatives moving in parallel.
- Ability to work discreetly with sensitive employee information.
- Prior experience building foundational systems and processes to support business growth.
- BIPOC, womxn, and LGBTQ+ individuals are highly encouraged to apply.
