Mill is all about answering a simple question: how can we prevent waste? Less waste can save time, money, energy, maybe even our planet. And there’s no better place to start than food. Food waste is one of the most solvable climate problems facing us today. Plus, our trash really stinks. It’s gross, heavy, and our least favorite chore. At Mill we are striving to build a better environment for all, as we take on climate and kitchen change.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Program Manager to lead the excellence, cadence, and delivery of Mill's world-class marketing initiatives. This leader will manage the connective tissue within and across teams, distilling complexity and amplifying excellence. This role will steward the brand strategy from 0 to 100, and then execute to it cross-functionally. Expect to bring marketing ideas to life in accordance with the strategy, timeline, production, budget, and analysis. This is a role for someone who likes to see around corners and blend strategy with execution. This is an opportunity to join an incredible, high-performing team at the outset, with significant future growth opportunities. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functionally to define schedules, requirements, resources and integration plans
- Manage annual team strategic development process
- Manage team budget
- Manage agency/external feedback cycles and timeline to goal
- Communicate program status and prioritize initiatives within the marketing team and across the organization
- Use technical judgment to challenge proposals and build consensus
- Proactively identify program risks and drive mitigation plans with cross-functional teams
- Build out scalable processes and frameworks leveraged by multiple teams
- Maintain the team's focus on goal-oriented results in a fast paced startup environment with many moving parts

Ideally you’ll have:
- 7+ years of Marketing Program Management, planning, integrated campaign, and/or project management
- Experience developing and growing a top consumer-facing brand
- Experience managing vendor relationships/partnerships.
- Experience delivering marketing programs or products from inception through delivery to post launch.
- Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.
- Communication experience and experience working with marketing teams to develop initiatives
- Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $175k to $200k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs. At Mill, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
