What we are looking for:
As Manager of Investor Relations – You will be responsible for supporting our interactions with investors and research analysts to position Stem as the leading clean energy intelligence company. You will work closely with Executive staff and Corporate Communications to develop and enhance all aspects of our investor relations program, including content
development, messaging, analyst and investor engagement, and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities
- Manage the quarterly earnings process, including preparation of the earnings press release, earnings presentation, prepared remarks, and question and answer talking points
- Manage requests from investors, analysts, and the board of directors
- Oversee the investor relations portion of the website
- Manage the investor relationship management database as well as related analytics and reporting
- Provide ongoing intelligence to the IR and executive team regarding investor feedback and analyst views
- Work closely with our external IR consulting firm on relative positioning, best practices, benchmarking, and messaging
- Support crafting the company’s messaging for the financial community for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and the like
- Work with the accounting and strategic finance teams to understand and communicate key metrics, business drivers, and financial and operating forecasts
- Provide competitive and market intelligence based on comparable company disclosures
- Track and analyze Wall Street consensus financial and operating forecasts to identify gaps versus internal forecasts
- Manage retail investor engagement via creative channels
- Assist C-level staff in preparing for investor meetings and speaking engagements

Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking capabilities
- Strong financial modeling skills, as well as an understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies
- Knowledge of renewable energy markets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex industry/technical terms into impactful messaging for a broad variety of audiences of all technical abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to solve problems independently
- Relevant public markets experience in investor relations, buy-side investing, or sell-sell equity research
- Travel may be required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field

Job Location
The preferred location for this role is either of San Francisco Bay Area or Boulder.
