Lilac is seeking a machinist to fabricate components, piping, and machinery from print. Responsibilities will include PVC piping and fabrication, welding, using machine shop equipment such as mill & lathe, using hand tools, and building frames from print. Candidate will also work closely with engineering and aid in design work. Process equipment and systems include bench, pilot, and commercial scale.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on building and fabrication work
- Skilled with hand tools and table-top shop equipment
- Experience using mill and lathe
- Able to read engineering prints
- Excited to work on a small fast-paced startup team with a drive to succeed and grow with the company
- MIG welding experience preferred
