The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Customer Experience Lead who thrives in a space of constant change and problem solving. Reporting to the Director of Technology and working closely with the Product Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our next generation SaaS platform that will deliver ground-breaking carbon intelligence to the entire planet. This is a service-oriented position that will hold the advocacy for the customer experience within the organization. You will be instrumental in the development of others, and being a passionate leader will help you get the most out of your team. We understand leadership is always evolving, and we are committed to helping you develop within that space. This role is best suited for a generalist who is unattached to a particular platform, or tool, and is comfortable working in all aspects of technology stacks and cloud systems.

What you’ll do: 
- Build, lead and work alongside a small, customer-focused team to rapidly incorporate internal and external customer needs into small, incremental deliverables
- Lead UX, Backend and Design delivery within the organization
- Write, review and debug code
- Advocate for industry best practices and help to train and mentor other team members
- Evolve the organization by identifying risks and opportunities and taking initiative to find solutions proactively
- Take advantage of learning opportunities to keep your skills current, then share this knowledge with stakeholders and other engineers.
- Develop expertise in a technology or system that is unique in the organization.

What you bring:

Experience._ _You are likely a Senior Software Engineer or Tech Lead who loves to coach and mentor others to success, while staying close to the code and taking tactical ownership of delivery. You’ll have worked with diverse product lines, successfully meeting the needs of customers through many product release cycles. You may have Project Management experience that will help you execute on deliverables with the customer in mind, balanced by an empathetic leadership style that will nurture and grow a successful team.

You will also have recent and in depth experience with:
- Full-stack development with at least two different stacks deployed in public cloud
- Hands on experience with devops/CI/CD/IaC, monitoring, and command line and cloud debugging
- Automated testing experience with unit and functional testing.
