In this position, you will be responsible for the design of process instrumentation and low voltage electrical engineering project deliverables for the design and construction of process plants utilizing electrolyzers and other balance of plant equipment to process and convert captured CO2 into a myriad of value-added products. As part of the Capital Projects technical team, you will lead conceptual design, partner closely with external parties to perform detailed design and build process plants, and collaborate internally with R&D and production teams to continually improve the plant designs on 1 MW and larger systems. You will both develop and evaluate technical engineering documents for the design and construction of plants from pilot to commercial scale.

What you will do
- Complete FEL 2-3 instrumentation and low voltage electrical deliverables.
- Work with process and controls engineers on instrumentation design for process plants.
- Work with electrical engineers on balance of plant electrical system design for process plants.
- Design engineered electrical systems that are safe, reliable, maintainable, operable, and economic.
- Interface with EPC companies, vendors, engineering consultants, and subject matter experts to design and build process plants.
- Provide technical oversight to ensure projects are designed to appropriate standards.
- Generate alternatives and provide engineering analysis and recommendations.
- Review and approve equipment data sheets, load lists, single line diagrams, I/O lists, cause and effect tables, control narratives, logic diagrams, P&IDs, and other detailed design engineering documents produced by EPCs and engineering contractors.
- Participate in safety studies, such as arc flash analysis and HAZOP workshops.
- Provide technical support to on-site instrumentation and electrical construction teams and assist with plant start-up activities.
- Provide technical support to pilot plant operations and maintenance personnel.

Who you are
