What you’ll do
- In this role, each day will be different, however you can expect you duties to cover: 
- Maintain all People related documentation and systems; timesheets, absence and leave records, contracts of employment, employee performance documentation.
- Maintain all People policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations.
- Support line managers in their People management responsibilities.
- Support the development of employee engagement initiatives.
- Support the development of company People strategy.
- Support in the induction of new employees.
- Manage payroll and expenses with external accountants.
- Help to organise team social events.

Who we need
- Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards or equivalent experience
- Keen eye for detail.
- Passionate about people and culture.
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
- Interest in environmental issues.
- Time management skills; being able to manage and plan your workload.
- Self-starter and problem solver.
- Experience in the engineering sector is desirable.
