Summary of Role

The HOA (Homeowners Association) Specialist is a member of the HOA Program who manages Homeowners Association requirements and relationships. HOA Specialists eliminate roadblocks in markets where permitting and/or installation is contingent upon HOA approval. HOA Specialists also provide guidance and resources to homeowners who request assistance.

Main KPI’s
- Time to Resolution: <15 Days
- Projects blocked by HOAs: 0

Strategic/Tactical
- Ensure customer service levels meet or exceed Palmetto standards
- Ensure all queues are meeting the defined SLOs (Service Level Objectives)
- Manage Homeowner Association Database (Palmetto- Local Requirements Tool)
- Manage communication between Palmetto, Customers, and Homeowner Associations
- Research and gather resources to obtain Homeowners Association information and requirements for approval
- Work with different departments to manage and resolve issues when they arise in terms of the Homeowners Association.
- Identify common issues and develop suitable solutions to improve process
- Manage HOA approval, denials and special cases in a timely manner.
- Gather HOA information and explain the Palmetto HOA process to Homeowners and Sales Organizations
- Prepare, verify and send to the customer all relevant documentation in accordance with specific AHJ/HOA requirements (as needed)

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service related position, business operations experience a plus
- Customer service mindset
- Problem solver
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Strong computer skills (MS Office or G Suite)
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative, be independent and a self-starter.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of the construction or solar industry preferred
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
- Spanish speaker a plus
