Backed by leading international climate and tech investors, including Y Combinator and Lowercarbon Capital, and with customers in 11 countries across Europe, US and APAC, we are looking for our first Head of Marketing to design and deliver a marketing strategy that supercharges our growth.
About the Role
At Enode, our customers range from startups to some of the largest energy companies in the world. We want everyone excited about building green energy apps to hear about our API and understand the value we deliver.
- Reporting to co-founder and CRO, Thorvald, you will deliver high and stable growth in relevant inbound leads.
- You will position Enode as the leading energy API provider worldwide.
- You will lead, build out and start executing fast on a holistic marketing strategy, covering all external communications using social media, performance, PR outreach and attending relevant conferences.
- Initially, engage and coordinate freelancers/ hire content producers to deliver high-value content for our niche across text, video ++ and start to build out a marketing team to accelerate our growth.
- You will build out playbooks and lay out the strategy for how we build a recognized brand at Enode.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with our product and tech teams building out playbooks and laying the foundations of Marketing at Enode. We are also looking for a Content Manager, but experience with building out content yourself is always an advantage.
- Having designed our long-term Marketing strategy with OKRs aligned with our company goals, you will test and evaluate all relevant marketing channels, from organic to paid and everything in between.
About You
As our first Marketing Leader, you'll be happy rolling your sleeves up initially to get systems and processes set up.
You're mission-driven and motivated to fight climate change. You're likely excited about the electrification of transport and the opportunity to use energy hardware to solve grid challenges in the transition to a renewable energy system.
To succeed as Head of Marketing, you are an experienced marketer with a broad toolbox. Being data-driven, scrappy and moving fast comes naturally to you. You are eager to experiment and be creative regarding new marketing channels but also systematic in your approach to scaling what works and cutting what doesn't.
- You have lead or been part of a successful marketing team with a proven record of building and executing marketing campaigns that have a considerable impact; bonus points with an understanding of APIs, B2B SaaS marketing, energy apps and energy companies.
- You have experience with (or high interest in) renewable energy, electric vehicles, smart energy hardware and/or demand response.
- We are a multicultural team; we expect excellent communication skills, oral and written (English).
- You're motivated by the scale of the challenge and are well organized and independent.
