Growth Strategy Manager (Remote)

Solar power is the largest source of new energy in the world. Raptor Maps is a fast-growing, venture-backed, MIT-born climate tech startup that is building software to enable the solar energy industry to scale. Parties across the entire solar lifecycle use Raptor Maps’ data model to manage ever growing utility-scale solar portfolios. We are an industry leader with hundreds of customers, including owners, builders, operators, and aerial service providers, across over 40 countries with 200+ million solar panels under management. Our software platform is essential in the fight against climate change.

We are looking for a Growth Strategy Manager to join our fast expanding commercial team with a focus on accelerating Raptor Map’s impact in the industry.

As a Growth Manager, you will be responsible for developing an expert perspective on the challenges of the solar market and orienting Raptor Maps’ value proposition toward our customers’ most urgent business needs. As a part of a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial team, you will work closely with operations, sales, engineering, product, and executive leaders to learn the details of our solutions and approaches. You’ll help shape how we tell our story and participate closely in our engagements with executives in the solar industry.

Responsibilities

  • Learn in detail Raptor Maps’ solutions, the competitive landscape, and our approach to adding value
  • Work with customers to understand their business challenges in-depth
  • Develop provocative content and datasets in support of sales and business development activities
  • Bring strategy and ideas to advance our company’s growth and impact
  • Contribute to the company’s collaborative culture and mission of scaling the solar industry

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of management consulting or investment banking experience
  • Hard working and eager to solve customer business problems
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for working in a team environment and managing a demanding workload
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
  • Must be primarily located in the contiguous US
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
