ZeroAvia is a leader in zero-emission aviation, flying the world's largest hydrogen-electric aircraft since September 2020. Its focus is the design and commercialization of hydrogen-powered aviation solutions to address a variety of markets, initially targeting short-haul, sub-regional commercial flights up to 500 miles that will be commercially available by 2024.

ZeroAvia’s powertrain development focuses on integrating hydrogen storage tanks, fuel cell systems, and electric motors, delivering a solution that will be not only without carbon emissions but also cheaper to operate. Commercialising the solution requires the establishment of a new clean aviation ecosystem, encompassing hydrogen production from renewable energy sources and tackling public perception of safety. ZeroAvia has raised $60m+ in VC funding to date, and has an exciting future ahead. 

Carrying out hangar duties ensuring efficient and effective control of parts and tools within the stores.

Main responsibilities but not limited to:
- Adhere to both the company’s Materials Control and Stores procedures, As well as paying attention to the companies Maintenance and Production Procedures and especially Environmental and Safety Procedures.
- Control and booking in of any incoming materials and tools
- Work with Production and 145 Stores to ensure parts and tools are allocated to each as appropriate
- Control of materials and tools to be shipped out
- Determine priority items to ensure timely handling of incoming and outgoing parts both externally and within company departments.
- Ensure that outgoing Tools/materials are logged to ensure traceability.
- Ensure rejected tool and parts including suspected unapproved parts in Goods Inwards are quarantined and labelled as appropriate and are then raised with the appropriate stakeholder
- Work with the quality team to help resolve queries around potential non-conforming parts
- Take a proactive approach to the daily Goods Inwards and Logistics operation.
- Assist with audits as and when required.
- Ensure accurate Goods Inwards Registry to maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in Goods Inwards.
- Work with 145 Production Stores to ensure that calibrated tools are shipped for inspection as appropriate and to ensure priority planning of when this is achieved
- Rotate with 145 and Production Stores as appropriate to ensure all areas are covered
- Routinely inspect all tools for inconsistencies, damage, and appropriate documentation
- Engrave and document tools as and when required.
- Issue approved parts, materials, special tooling, and ground support equipment to the maintenance department that is accompanied by the appropriate documentation.
- Ensure that outgoing Tools/materials are logged to the correct personnel and returned when required.
- Ensure rejected tools and parts including suspected unapproved parts are quarantined and labelled as appropriate.
- Take a proactive approach to the daily store’s operation.
- Ensure accurate inventory using computerised manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools etc.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in stores.
- Monitor special tooling to ensure all issued tooling is within its calibration period.
- Working closely with Engineering, Procurement & Production/145 to ensure timely ordering and kitting of parts.
- Manage the purchase order process with day-to-day purchasing, creating purchase orders and monitoring shipments.

Essential
- Previous experience in aviation or materials/parts handling within a store environment.
- Have the ability to multitask.
