Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries for parent and other subsidiaries for month end close.
- Prepare consolidations schedules for subsidiaries and validate accuracy.
- Review eliminations upon consolidations and book elimination entries when necessary.
- Manage the close calendar to ensure all tasks are done on time.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for the US/Canada Entities and ensure supporting schedules and account reconciliations are completed properly.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information needed for month end close and for ongoing GL transactions during the month.
- Support audit related work (i.e., respond to auditor’s requests, prepare audit schedules) as requested by the manager.
- Occasionally create wires and payments in the bank portal as requested by the manager and/or prepare journal entries for the transfers.
- Work with AP and AR team to gather required information for month end close.
- Assist with the 401K reconciliations and equity related entries.
- Participate in Ad hoc projects, if needed

Requirements:
- 4 plus years of Public accounting and/or Private industry with high volume, fast paced environment.
- 2 plus years’ experience in leading transactional level teams.
- Experience in a multi- subsidiary and multi-currency environment desirable.
- Ability to speak and email comfortably with vendors/customers to discuss their accounts.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Netsuite or other ERP experience desirable.
- Work collaboratively across different departments at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Flexible to work with US team in their time zones on as needed basis to attend meetings.
