Electronics Engineer (Hardware)

Required Experience and Skills:

• Graduate of B.S. in Electrical; Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Candidate must have at least three (3) years of experience
• Have hands on experience and theoretical understanding of power, analog, and digital circuits
• Knowledgeable in magnetic principles of inductors / transformers
• Knowledgeable in electronic sensors (temperature, pressure, acceleration etc)
• Knowledgeable in thermal management techniques
• Experience in Failure Analysis of electronic assemblies
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters and other tools in the specific context of high voltage, high-power circuits and high frequency switching
• Performs Root Cause Analysis to generate necessary Corrective Actions
• Participates in resolving quality issues highlighted by the internal and external customers
• Conducts functionality test of new equipment and jigs/fixtures
• Initiate projects to improve the following:
  • Yield performance (quality)
  • Cost reduction in terms of material, time/manhours
  • Processing time (cycle time)

Desirable:

• Have design experience in Power/Analog/Digital Electronics
• Can do PCB design in Altium or equivalent
• Can do Electronic Simulations
• Understanding of electric machine analysis and field-oriented control concepts
• Can handle programming in Python or C++ for embedded systems
• Familiarity in manufacturing environment tools – Cpk, MSA, DoE, Monte Carlo, and Fault Tree Analysis
• M.S., Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
