Lilac is seeking a drafter to prepare drawings used for equipment fabrication, mechanical, and process piping. The drafter will work closely with engineers to produce and update drawings of process engineering packages. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of high quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial design
- Technically competent in AutoCAD, or other industrial CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, SP3D, PDMS
- Must be able to complete P&IDs, 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings for process design packages
- Must have experience working on design packages for chemical, petrochemical, or water treatment processes
- Knowledge of using pipe & fittings standards
- Ability to identify and design pipe supports and produce a bill of materials/material take offs list for pipes, fittings, and pipe supports.
- Experience with piping design, plant design, or plant layout preferred
