What we are looking for:

As District Manager you will report to the Regional Manager of Sales who oversees all C&I sales activity for the region. You will develop and manage a channel sales pipeline of solar developer and EPC accounts with initial concentration on solar developer accounts located in Central and Northern California. You will be responsible for building a pipeline of high-value Partner accounts and Partner opportunities for strategic partners while driving revenue through the Stem distributor partner network.

This position requires a driven and talented sales professional with proven abilities to identify potential Partners and engage with decision makers, identify technical requirements, build pipeline, and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:
- ·Exceed sales targets by executing on an aggressive sales pipeline compromised of named partner accounts and key distributor partners within the defined district
- Widen the channel, while going deeper with strategic existing partners
- Educating and training the channel
- Work with the Distribution Manager to develop key distribution partners within the district
- Closely coordinate with internal groups (including Supply Chain, Product, Programs, Commercial Operations and Sales Support) to ensure Partner needs are managed and obligations are met
- Work with Business Development and Inside sales to identify and execute on lead generation campaigns
- Maintain salesforce.com and forecast with certainty to leadership

Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in solar PV and/or energy storage
- Knowledge of the California solar PV markets
- Experience selling complex projects using service, PPA, and capital expenditure financing methods
- A strong understanding of solar developer and EPC buying cycles and dealing with executive decision makers
- Experience closing behind the meter and/or front of the meter solar projects
- Strong experience is selling to Solar EPC’s and partner sales
- Commercial energy storage sales experience preferred
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and outpacing peers
- An assertive mentality, strong negotiation skills, a sense of initiative, and drive to exceed goals
- A high level of professionalism and integrity
- Salesforce, CRM
