Our mission? To eliminate the 2 billion pairs of disposable tights that get tossed into landfills every year and change the world's relationship with tights. Named one of TIME's Best Inventions, our innovative, patent-pending technology has advanced a once stagnant industry thanks to our invention of a unique, impossibly-strong fiber that was never-before-seen in hosiery. Our team is made up of curious, creative problem solvers and our culture is one of inspiration and determination. At Sheertex, we strive to make the impossible possible—are you up for the challenge?

You will develop the framework for the overall manufacturing process therefore improving overall production efficiency. You are resourceful and gritty, constantly questioning the current status quo and relentless solving problems in order to drive continuous improvement. You have a vision for how automation can be used to revolutionize hosiery manufacturing.

What can you expect from this role?

You will become the primary point of contact for the Industrial Automation team. You will develop and execute an industrial automation strategy for the company.

- Wearing many hats and filling in experience gaps as the teams grows (including getting your hands dirty in the machine shop, scouring the McMaster-Carr catalog for just the right part, and debugging a faulty sensor that’s holding up production)

Qualifications Requises/Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- OIQ engineering license, able to oversee junior engineers on the team
- 3+ years demonstrated experience leading engineering functions/teams
- 5+ years hands-on mechanical or industrial engineering experience, with experience working on experimental projects

- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in French and English

Qualifications Souhaitables/Desirable Requirements
