Job Brief
The Productization group seeks to develop innovative new manufacturing processes and automation tools to establish Twelve as a world leader in carbon transformation. It is composed of several different teams focused on different aspects of engineering, manufacturing, new product introduction, quality, and customer deployments of our CO2 conversion systems.
We’re looking for a highly motivated leader to build world class teams and lead Manufacturing Operations at our new factory. You will be responsible for meeting the production forecast and ensuring company goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will have a track record of significant achievements, tremendous drive, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves.
What you will do
- Own all site operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, building a safe manufacturing plant culture, and future projects at Twelve’s factory
- Work closely with executive management to achieve manufacturing and product development on operations, goals, systems, and cost controls
- Drive manufacturing team to achieve established targets
- Provide manufacturing leadership for the factory’s operations, including shift or department management. Manage multiple shifts of an assembly line, fabrication or machining operation
- Provide manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost
- Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, quality, and shipping
- Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for site operations
- Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
- Development and continuous improvement of key shop metrics
- Maintain high product quality and manufacturing yield
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports on projects and process improvements
- Interact with the quality management team to correct, contain, and resolve quality concerns
- Ensure appropriate preventative maintenance systems are in place and appropriate actions are taken to maintain the facility in good operating condition
- Make countermeasures for timely completion of project goals
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross functional teams to improve and meet goals
- Ensure consistency in standards and documentation
- Monitor and ensure compliance
- Support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives
- Enforce proper material management procedures
Who you are
- 15 years related manufacturing experience, 5+ years management experience in a high volume manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and throughput
- Experience in a P&L role is desirable
- Experience in a low volume, high automated assembly environment
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines
- In-depth understanding of mechanical and standardized processes
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly environment
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to ship product

United States Wage Range: $176,000 - $220,000
