Crusoe Cloud is a managed cloud services platform powered by stranded energy that enables climate-friendly innovation in computationally intensive fields including artificial intelligence, graphics rendering and computational biology.

Crusoe Cloud is hiring a developer relations engineer to ensure our customers are successful on our product. Currently in private alpha, we offer high performance GPU compute at a fraction of the cost of hyperscalers. As we move towards public beta and start working with more startups, researchers, and larger companies, we need a developer-focused advocate to work side-by-side with customers building their products, as well as advocate for our brand in strategically important communities.

Responsibilities

  • Be our Crusoe Cloud platform evangelist
  • Deliver technical presentations and workshops at industry events, developer meetups, and webinars
  • Support the Crusoe Cloud team in executing a vision that brings high performance GPU compute to our customers
  • Enable, support, and onboard third-party developers and partners, ensuring a world-class developer experience
  • Champion the needs of developers, and represent their requirements to help guide our platform product roadmap
  • Act as the technical liaison between Crusoe Cloud and customer dev teams
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to land our platform strategy, and to improve our tools and processes
  • Create developer-facing guides, tutorials, sample code, and documentation
  • Support the distribution of new information about new tools/development kits to developers and manage feedback
  • Analyze developer issues to guide Cloud product team to implement fixes
  • Host internal and external training sessions and technical briefings as required
  • Help create, and contribute regularly to our developer blog and/or social media presence

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in developer relations, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical customer support
  • Experience working with developer tools, APIs, B2B SaaS, or similar
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts
  • Excellent collaboration skills across stakeholder teams including product, engineering, and marketing
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to adopt new tools and workflows, or onboard us to additional tools
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to frame and define existing/emerging opportunity spaces and success criteria often within ambiguous spaces
  • Desire to participate in user experience research and customer calls to best understand developer needs
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Established social media presence in developer spaces (twitter, stack overflow, etc.) a plus
