Mighty Buildings is seeking a Chief of Staff (CoS) to work in collaboration with our Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer in the Product and R&D organizations. The CoS will be responsible for the alignment of the Product and R&D organizations, will serve as a thought partner to the CPO and CTO, and will ensure operational efficiency throughout the organizations.
We’re working to make beautiful, carbon-neutral housing a reality for everyone. We need someone ready to rise to the challenge.
Responsibilities
- Design and own the implementation of operational processes and practices to ensure the Product and R&D organizations are synchronized and working as efficiently as possible
- Ruthlessly prioritize to ensure teams are focusing on the work that most impacts company goals, while ensuring that the CTO and CPO have the bandwidth to work on the highest leverage work.
- Manage the communication of the product roadmap across the company, as well as other internal communications from the CPO and CTO, and promote transparency throughout the organization
- Prepare effective materials for investors and board meetings
- Support the growth of Product and R&D leadership via onboarding and professional development programs
- Collaborate with leaders and teams in other departments to manage KPIs, facilitate retrospectives and goal setting, and make sure that the company is aligned on vision and direction
- Identify strategic growth opportunities and lead special projects as needed
Requirements
- Deep understanding of product and R&D best practices, ideally in the context of complex manufacturing or construction
- Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated success identifying, developing, and owning strategic initiatives
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience working in a high-growth, distributed organization
- Success in building trust across a diverse range of stakeholders
Nice-to-Haves
- Fluency in Russian
- Knowledge of complex manufacturing, 3D printing, architecture, and real estate
- Experience navigating global supply chains
