Summary of Role
A Business Development Manager will be charged with recruiting new partners, building relationships, and ensuring that these partners continue to sell on the platform once onboarded. The 3 KPIs are Production, Churn, and Sales Member NPS. Successfully hitting all 3 KPIs will ensure a highly productive region. A Business Development Manager will run a state or area within a state depending upon the size and total addressable market. A successful business development manager will be able to forge solid relationships at the rep level and provide in-field feedback that helps drive sales in their market.

Strategic & Tactical
- Willing to familiarize themselves with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives
- Conducting market research and knowing TAM for each state in the region
- Cultivating strong relationships with new partners, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Ability to provide informative feedback that removes obstacles and drives results
- Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clientele
- Maintain field journal to collate direct lines of communication of blockers and opportunities to management. Document key ideas and market points during the Trello ingest
- Build dependable and repeatable lead-generation strategies
- Contribute the success of one’s teammates by collaborating, dropping in and cross-pollinating ideas and best practices
- Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database

Qualifications
- 2+ years' relevant work experience in business development or a similar field required
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and personable demeanor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
