Perform collections and other accounts receivable duties for an assigned portfolio of Also Energy Germany customer accounts, including invoicing, credit limit management, addressing and preventing past due account balances, collaboration with customers, and strategizing with cross-functional teams as needed to resolve/collect customer balances. Directly responsible for collecting open receivable balances timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Prepares, posts, verifies and records customer billing files to customer accounts. Billings occur on a daily basis as the milestones are reached. Certain billings are done on quarterly basis.
- Reviews customer files are kept up to date with respect to address, emails, tax positions.
- Comfortable sending emails and/or make calls to customers to resolve discrepancies.
- Determine sales order readiness for invoicing and issue invoices
- Facilitate assertive and professional customer communications via email and phone calls
- Research discrepancies and short payments, submit for approval recommendations to resolve, and process credit memos and adjustments
- Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
- Reviews Sales orders and ensure they match the customer contracts in Salesforce.
- Assist Account Receivable Manager in reconciling accounts and creating reports on aging.
- Creates weekly AR Aging and reviews with Accounts receivable manager on the past due accounts.
- Assist AR manager during month end close to close Accounts Receivable ledger.
- Performs other accounting duties as request by the manager.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years’ experience in Account receivable & general accounting is required.
- Should be able to review customer contracts and understand the terms of the contract.
- Strong computer skills in Word and Excel, database experience to maintain electronic files and to create and generate reports, communications and presentations.
- NetSuite experience a plus.
- Worked in a multi- subsidiary and multi-currency environment is a plus.
- Dealing with International billing is a plus.
- Strong attention to details and a solid analytic skill base.
- Ability to proactively manage priorities and goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Work collaboratively across different departments at all levels of the organization

Salary Range: $60,000-70,000/annually
