Job Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for both leading the delivery of revenue and selling SaaS solutions to the wastewater industry in the US, while working closely with sales and executive leadership to develop and enhance overall sales strategy, budget and plan.

You will be responsible for selling to our existing install base and creating new customers in the wastewater industry You’ll be responsible for a full range of sales tasks ranging from new business acquisition to existing client development and expansion. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, and a proactive problem solver with a genuine passion for consultative selling and experience in both direct and indirect sales.

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a B2B SaaS company preferably in the smart water industry.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and creative strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a complex sales environment.
  • Ambitious desire with bringing new customers and maximizing revenue.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong presentation & negotiation skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred.
  • Flexible and eager to work in a fast-growing, multi-tasking environment.
  • Existing relationships in the Digital water Industry or with city/government officials specifically in wastewater/ environmental technology is a plus.
  • Proven track record in selling 6-figure deals into wastewater companies is a plus.
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Environmental studies or in a science field is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time.
