QA Team Lead

We’re looking for a QA team lead to join our Development team to Mentor and Lead a group of Agile QA testers. Our ideal candidate is an expert on leading testing of large-scale saas web applications and is an experienced team leader. The QA team lead will collaborate with the development team leads and the product team leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality software to our clients. A successful QA team lead at T-REX is someone who exhibits leadership and mentoring to the QA team members and is able to create a good collaboration between the development and the QA .
Your day-to-day will include
- Managing and mentoring QA team members
- Developing, implementing, and managing processes to ensure that product meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Coordinates product testing processes.
- Actively participate in sprint planning sessions to plan a testing strategy for releases
- Collaborate with our New-York based product and sales team made of Wall-Street investment banks, rating agencies, and Bloomberg veterans
- Leverage your experience and skills to help the team, its members, and our product become better
Requirements
This role may be right for you if:
- You have at least 5+ years of management experience in hiring and mentoring a large group of manual QA testers and automation testers.
- You have a BSc/BA degree or higher 
- You have In-depth knowledge of QA test methodologies and strategies
- You have excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- You’re a team player with the ability to work independently and drive processes across the team (startup experience is a plus!)
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics to people with varying backgrounds
- You love to build genuine connections with the people you work alongside
